Hi all-
I was just wondering, has anyone here used this site? There are only a couple of reviews so far, but it looks like it should be pretty popular... any comments would be appreciated.

They seem to be a great substitute for much lamented allofMP3.com(ru).
I just signed up recently, so I don't understand completely their pricing system, but it seems to be:
0.10 USD minimum per track, regardless of how short. However longer than normal tracks may cost more, though I hadn't seen any more than 0.19, and they were few and far between. Within all the albums I saw, 80-90% of the cuts seemed to stay at a dime.
Likewise, the vast majority of albums seemed to clock in at the minimum 0.99USD, despite having more than a dozen tracks, while some, particularly "double albums" cost significantly more.
I think, though I am not sure, the prices go up as MBs go up. This may not translate directly into length of cuts/albums, because bitrates vary a lot, even within the same album. And I haven't figured out why that happens either.
But the bottom line is that this Ukrainian (?) does deliver the goods (if you remember to RIGHT CLICK your download) and does it well.
For example, they sell the deluxe verison of "Across the Universe" with all 31 cuts, not the 29 that Amazon.com and most other outlets offer.
I think that is significant...
They often charge DOUBLE the amount they say will be charged to the account (0.20 instead of 0.10), when you select individual songs. I complained to the customer service by email, but the email was returned undelivered (blocked?). I am looking for an alternative.
I have stopped using MP3Fiesta (and removed their songs) because there is a horrible ringing in the MP3s when I listen to headphones. There is also a sense of compression in the songs (I think some of these must be converted from LPs to MP3 and listed, as I cannot figure out any other explanation).
YMMV
Neal - can you give me an example track (artist and title) that has the artifacts that you're hearing? I'd be interested in finding the culprit. It could be, for example, that the MP3 is actually encoded at a lower bitrate than advertised (for example) that would cause artifacts.
Hi,
after allofmp3 and justmusicstore appear to have been shut down, I registered with MP3fiesta (and Legalsounds) about three weeks ago and had no problem initiating a payment via intacard.
Hopefully mp3fiesta stays in business for a long time. They don´t have the widest selection (definetly not comparable to allofmp3 or justmusicstore) but if you are looking for "standards" you´ll find pretty much everything. The best part is, that you usually get the whole album for 99 Cents, regardless of the number of tracks. This makes this site my No1 choice.
If I don´t find my stuff there I go to legalsounds, which has a larger selection but prices per song (only 9 cents), which makes download of albums slightly more "expensive".
Both sides don´t have their own music player and previews are limited to 30 secs, which makes previewing a little cumbersome.
I still miss allofmp3, especially because I liked the option to chose the bitrate, but the above two (almost) closed the gap for me
I have, since I saw the review here. I have to say, this is the service that I go to first, before checking any others. Great catalog and the cheapest prices out there. Most albums can be had for the price of a song on Itunes- definitely my favorite of the 6 or 7 sites on here that I use.
I've used it, but really for writing the review. What kinds of questions do you have about it? I suggest starting with the review here first, and then maybe you will have more specific questions.
Want music then log on here
Works OK for me
Often charge double for individual songs
Anyone else?
Ringing artifact in MP3 conversion
Interesting...
