MP3Skyline Accepting Payments

For about 16 hours now, MP3Skyline has been accepting payments again. They are using two new credit card processors - and which one you use depends on where you live.

MP3Skyline updates to site

I cannot find any new updates to the site since 11/05/2007. I have no problem downloading, accessing site, just don't see any new additions in week. Does anyone know why?

Site Updates

I just spoke with tech support at mp3skyline, and they said they were having some technical difficulties that they've now got sorted out, and there should be updates sometime today.

problem with "ADD BALANCE"

Hey

As my balance was going down I tried to add to it everytime I tried the "ADD" it is what I get .....

Add Balance Problem

This comes up in other browsers too, and I suspect it is due to either a server misconfiguration or that the "Certificate Authority" isn't being recognized for some reason. The reason this didn't come up in the past is because they switched to processing credit cards using a form on their own website using SSL encryption, while previously they forwarded you to a credit card processor.

However, the main point of this issue is to ensure that you're not going to a site pretending to be mp3fiesta.com. Since you are going directly to mp3fiesta, I doubt there is a chance you're actuallly looking at a different website.

If it is simply a server misconfiguration, then perhaps writing an email to the customer support to notify them about this might help.

If you want to feel a little more secure about entering your credit card information there, then try this: click on "Continue" or "Accept this certificate" to get to the next page. Once you are there, you will see the "VeriSign Secured" seal on the left side of the screen. If you click it, it will verify that the SSL certificate is indeed certified by VeriSign. It will take you to this page, which lets you know that mp3fiesta.com does indeed have a VeriSign SSL certificate.

That should be enough to set your mind at ease.

Is Mp3skyline problem free yet?

Hey guys. I have recently discovered that Mp3skyline have a couple of songs available for download, which I have been wanting for quite sometime now. No other sites, to my knowledge, have these tunes available. Because I have no other alternatives, I am thinking of creating an account with Mp3skyline. However, since I've heard that there are so many problems with the downloading, I'm beginning to have doubts. Have all the problems been resolved, or are there still things that need to be sorted out. I would really like to download these particular tunes, but I need some reassurance that everything is sorted. Would I be making a mistake if I start up an account? I'm not too sure where Mp3skyline stand, in regards to efficient service. Could someone please advise me?

As far as I know MP3Skyline is up and running fine. The last complaints I heard about were due to some tracks not being there when they were re-arranging their catalog.

Let me know one of the songs you want, and I'll try the download myself and let you know if I have any problems downloading it. Either write a reply here in the forum or send me an email using the contact form, and I'll give it a shot.

Hey Rob. I must thank you for your enthusiasm to lend a helping hand. Your offer would be much appreciated. There are two specific songs that I would like to download. The name first tune is called: “D.U.G - The Anchor Song (mix One)”. The length and size of the song is (6:47 / 9.29 Mb). The second song is called: “Heatseeker - Xplicit (Club mix)”. The length and size is (6:24 / 7.29 Mb). I can’t obtain these two songs anywhere else, other than Mp3Skyline. If I can’t get it there, then I would be left with no other alternative. But thanks again for your help. You’re a real mate.

Downloads work fine

I grabbed both tracks this morning. The first one (D.U.G - The Anchor Song (mix One)) downloaded at about 400KB/s, and the second one (Heatseeker - Xplicit (Club mix)) downloaded at about 250KB/s. They both play fine. Interesting club music, I've never heard it before.
